Mechanism of action
Adipotide is a chimeric peptide with a homing domain (CKGGRAKDC) that binds prohibitin on adipose vasculature, fused to a proapoptotic D-amino-acid killing domain. It selectively 'prunes' fat-tissue blood supply.
