Extensive rodent studies from the Sikiric group. Limited controlled human trials. FDA explicitly placed BPC-157 on the 503A Negative List in 2023.

§ 02   Mechanism

Mechanism of action

BPC-157 upregulates growth hormone receptor expression in tendon fibroblasts, promotes VEGFR2 signaling and angiogenesis, stabilizes the nitric oxide system, and modulates dopaminergic and serotonergic pathways.
