Mechanism of action

5-Amino-1MQ inhibits NNMT, an enzyme overexpressed in white adipose tissue of obese subjects. Inhibition preserves methyl donors and NAD+, shifting adipocytes toward a leaner, more thermogenic phenotype in preclinical models.
