§ 01 Overview
Overview
Long-acting GHRH analog with an albumin-binding linker, producing a sustained (non-pulsatile) GH/IGF-1 elevation.
Teichman 2006 and Ionescu/Frohman 2006 describe PK and endocrine effects. ConjuChem halted clinical development. No FDA approval.
§ 02 Mechanism
Mechanism of action
CJC-1295 with DAC is modified GRF(1-29) with a maleimidopropionyl (DAC) linker that covalently binds serum albumin, extending half-life to ~6–8 days. The result is sustained tonic GHRH receptor activation that flattens rather than amplifies natural GH pulsatility.

- What is CJC-1295 with DAC used for?
- Reported uses include sustained igf-1 elevation with infrequent dosing and convenience vs. daily ghrhs. Evidence strength is rated Preclinical — see the evidence section for detail.
- How is CJC-1295 with DAC dosed?
- Commonly referenced dosing is 1 – 2 mg per dose, typically weekly, administered SubQ. This is educational reference only; consult a licensed clinician before use.
- How do you reconstitute CJC-1295 with DAC?
- For CJC-1295 with DAC, vials commonly come in 2 mg and a common reconstitution is 2 ml BAC water. Use the reconstitution calculator to convert any vial size and water volume into exact insulin-syringe units.
- What are the side effects of CJC-1295 with DAC?
- Commonly reported side effects include water retention and insulin resistance at higher cumulative doses. This list is not exhaustive.
- Is CJC-1295 with DAC legal?
